Tiny Treat Boxes for Valentine's Day

Cute! Quick + easy tiny Valentine treat boxes. #valentines #papercrafts #stampinup

Did you see the adorable treat boxes in the Occasions Catalog?! Squee!! I just thought they were too cute and had to have me some of those.

These tiny treat boxes measure 2" x 2" x 2". Just big enough to hold a tiny treat or two. Okay maybe four or five tiny treats if you really cram them in there. Or just one big hunk of candy. Or a brownie. A bitty cookie? Whatever you like.

Stampin' Details:
  • The You Plus Me stamp set images are a perfect fit for these tiny boxes.
  • You can stamp directly on these kraft treat boxes, but you'll want to stamp first and then assemble the box.
  • The Stacked with Love Designer Series Paper Stack has oodles of Valentine themed designs plus designs for everyday use.  I won't have to put this pad away on February 14th.
  • Bundle it and save 15%. Get the You Plus Me Stamp Set and the Stacked with Love Designer Series Paper Stack in a specially priced bundle. Your choice of wood or clear mount stamp set plus the 4-1/2" x 6-1/2" pad of patterned paper (48 sheets total; 12 double-sided designs).
  • Don't be fooled by the name - the Stacked with Love Designer Washi Tape in black/white and gold/white will coordinate with tons of projects all year long. It only sounds Valentine-ish.
Another fun thing to do with the Stacked with Love Designer Series Paper is to color it. Any of the black and white patterns can be colored to suit any occasion or color palette. With this in mind, the possibilities for this patterned paper are endless!

January Paper Pumpkin: Filled With Love Kit

January Paper Pumpkin Kit: Filled with Love #Valentines #papercrafts #stampinup #paperpumpkin

Have you seen the adorable January Paper Pumpkin Kit yet? It's called Filled With Love and it creates the cutest Valentine Treat Toppers!

These are going to be so fun to give out to friends, neighbors, or co-workers for a little Valentine's Day treat.

I created my own snack mix, going a little crazy over the Fresh Market bulk bins of candy, nuts and dried fruit. Actually, although it seemed like I bought too much, once I starting filling the little treat bags I was wishing I had just a tad more. I guess not having any left over means I won't be stuffing it in my mouth. This is good.

Paper Pumpkin January Kit: Filled with Love (Valentine Treat Bags) #valentines #paperpumpkin #stampinup #papercrafts

The Filled With Love kit included:

  • Filled with Love Photopolymer Stamp Set (8 stamps)
  • Real Red Classic Stampin' Spot ink
  • 2 Sheets of hearts
  • 6 Sheets of tags in 3 designs
  • 2 Sheets of pennants in 3 colors
  • 24 cellophane treat bags
  • Pink and gold baker's twine (10 yards)
  • 1 Sheet of glue dots

The treat bags were super fun and easy to create (which I love). Watch the video below to see how to create these Valentine treat toppers from start to finish.

You + Me, Valentine!

Stampin' Up! You Plus Me Valentine's Day Card | Stampingville #cardmaking #papercrafts #StampinUp #Valentines

With Valentine's Day just three weeks away, you're likely to fall into one of two categories. 1) You haven't even THOUGHT about getting started on Valentine projects yet, or 2) you started, but got distracted and now have half finished Valentine projects laying about. I may or may not fall into the second category. The good news for all of us is ... THREE WEEKS LEFT. There's still lots of time!

Today's card was inspired (again) by the awesome Fusion Challenge currently running through tomorrow. I just really loved this sketch because it has so many possibilities. Last week I created a beautiful wedding card using the sketch, and today it's a completely different style of card that I think will make a great masculine Valentine's Day card.

Stampin' Details:

  • The Stacked with Love Designer Series Paper Stack offers 48 sheets of patterned paper perfectly sized for card making (4-1/2" x 6-1/2"). There is a fabulous mix of heart/valentine appropriate patterns and everyday patterns to stretch the usefulness of this paper pad.
  • The coordinating Stacked with Love Designer Washi Tape in black/white and gold/white will also work on everyday projects the entire year.
  • The You Plus Me stamp set features 10 mix and match images that coordinate with a variety of dies in addition to the 2" Circle Punch.
  • Bundle and save: Get the You Plus Me stamp set + Stacked with Love Designer Series Paper Stack in a bundle and save 15%. Available in wood mount (138879) or clear mount (138880).

Your Perfect Day Wedding Card

"Your Perfect Day" wedding card with lace and a pretty jewel. #wedding #cardmaking #papercrafts #StampinUp

What are your favorite new products from the Occasions Catalog? I loved sooooo many things, it's a long list for me. But I especially loved the wedding themed products (pages 42-44). The Something Borrowed Designer Series Paper and Embellishments are stunning, as is the Sahara Sand Lace Trim.

The Hearts Fusion Challenge gave me loads of inspiration - a few suggested themes were wedding, hearts, a big and small object, wildflowers - and I've incorporated all of those elements into my card!

Stampin' Details:

  • The Something Borrowed Designer Series Paper in Sahara Sand and Whisper White is perfect for projects relating to weddings, anniversaries, and showers. This paper collection contains more sheets of each design, which is a big help when creating multiples of a project.
  • There are many ways to use doilies, and stamping right on the doily itself is one of them!
  • The Your Perfect Day stamp set features several sentiments designed to fit within the vine/wreath image.

Something Borrowed Embellishment + Sahara Sand Lace Trim. #wedding #cardmaking #papercrafts #StampinUp

  • After punching the heart from Strawberry Slush cardstock, I lightly sponged Strawberry Slush ink around the edges for definition.
  • Ooh la la! The Something Borrowed Embellishments are so classy and really add a shiny wow to projects.

I really love how this card turned out. It will be just the perfect wedding card for someone's perfect day!

  • The Best Day Ever stamp set is available in wood-mount (#139091), clear-mount (#139094), and photopolymer (#139149).
  • Natural Ivory cardstock is a great choice for creating clean and simple cards. The subtle speckles of fiber in the paper add interest without having to do a thing.
  • Chalk inks look great on chalkboard paper, but don't stop there! These inks look (and stamp) great on all types of cardstock and paper.
